Tributes Continue for the Reiners as Medical Examiner's Findings Are Sealed.

Well beyond 14 days after the tragic deaths of esteemed filmmaker Rob Reiner and his partner, photographer Michele Reiner, peers and loved ones persist in remembering the pair.

‘Life is Pain Without You’: Cary Elwes Remembers His Director

Sharing on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who rose to fame in Reiner's iconic movie *The Princess Bride*, explained he only now felt prepared to share openly about his deep grief.

"Enough time has gone by that I can at last put my grief into words," shared Elwes, adding that his initial encounter with Reiner left him smitten. "When we commenced sharing more moments together I knew this was someone I longed to have in my life."

The actor uploaded never-before-seen clips from the film, commenting that he cannot recall "any day without joy".

"The film is about love, loyalty and sacrifice. Things that Rob held dear. This is one of the many reasons he was the perfect person to direct it," Elwes continued.

He additionally honored Michele Reiner, stating: "Claiming that they were a great team would be an oversimplification. My heart still pangs every time I remember you." He ended with a phrase from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but existence is agony without you."

Martin Scorsese Reflects on a Colleague and Comrade

In a separate tribute, revered director Martin Scorsese also honored Reiner, whom he originally knew in the 1970s.

"Right away, I loved being with Rob. We had a natural affinity for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes sharply witty, but he was never the kind of guy who would command the room," Scorsese said.

Scorsese mentioned Reiner's acting part in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, embodying the father of the lead role.

"He could improvise with the best. He was a expert at comedy, he worked seamlessly with everyone, and he comprehended the personal struggle of his character," Scorsese wrote.

Court Proceedings: Autopsy Reports Withheld

This week, a Los Angeles judge decided to bar the release of the Reiners' autopsy reports, at the request from the LAPD.

A judicial mandate issued a embargo on the files to limit the public release of "any investigative information, notes, reports or photos" associated with the probe.

The Medical Examiner's office had previously confirmed their deaths were the result of homicide, with a record citing the cause as "injuries from a sharp object".

Aftermath and Reactions

After the tragedy, public individuals expressed varying responses.

Ex-President Donald Trump posted on the matter, providing provocative remarks that were broadly criticized by numerous individuals.

Podcaster Joe Rogan contributed his perspective to the critics last week. Speaking on his show, Rogan labeled the remarks as "disappointing" and implied they revealed a worrisome deficiency of sympathy.

Rogan concluded by proposing that an adviser should have intervened when the impulse to speak on the death was made.
