Prolific children's author and comedian David Walliams is no longer with his longtime publishing house, as confirmed by the firm.
A spokesman for the firm stated: "After careful consideration, and following the appointment of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing future works by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the conclusion was reached following an review of allegations of questionable actions directed at young women.
The firm did not confirm the reasons for its decision, noting: "We refrain from speaking about private personnel issues."
An Illustrious Literary Career
Walliams stands as a most successful children's authors, having sold in excess of 60 million copies worldwide in dozens of tongues.
His first children's book, *The Boy in the Dress*, came out under HarperCollins fifteen years ago.
Several of his works, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into small-screen adaptations.
His bibliography includes over four dozen titles in total, which features a holiday title named *Santa & Son*, which came out under HarperCollins last autumn.
